Some trip info---- We are driving over on Friday, June 4th and returning home after diving on the 5th. The Thompsons and Austins have booked into the "Country Inn and Suites" in Manteno, Il which is a little north of Kankakee. By telling them we are diving at the Haigh Quarry the price for a room with king sized bed was dropped to $59.00 plus tax. It is a new hotel w/hot breakfast buffett. You have to be sure to ask for the discount or they don't seem to remember the discount. They still have rooms left. Their phone number is 815-468-2600.
