Hey, y’all. It’s time to start thinking about the summer diving season. Of course, that’s easy to say on a warm February day – it may seem a bit further off when the weather turns nippy again. Even so, let’s plan to get together and share stories of warm water and sunny beaches at our next Gathering on March 7th at the North Liberty Pizza Ranch. We’ll get together at about 6:30 and dive into piping hot pizza at 7:00. I know that some of the group has been to warm, exotic climes over the past few months and I am sure there will be tales to tell.
Then, too, there may be new trips and travel destinations being planned following the Our World-Underwater Show in Rosemont, Illinois on the weekend of February 20-22. This don’t-miss annual event features seminars and exhibits, vendors and manufacturers, travel and equipment – in fact, pretty much everything there is to see and hear about diving! It is the premier dive exposition in the Midwest, and it all happens just a few hours drive from all of us. I hope you are all able to go and start building enthusiasm for 2009 diving.
