Imagine - clear skies… warm sun…. blue water… palm trees… flamingoes… can you think of a better way to spend a fall weekend than diving with good friends in a location like this? I can’t either. So come join us the weekend of September 15th and 16th at beautiful Haigh Quarry in Kankakee, Illinois!
I will be doing Open Water and Advanced Open Water Diver training at the “Caribbean of the Midwest,” but any and all are welcome to join in for a weekend of good diving. Haigh Quarry is a beautiful spot that features good clarity in a park like setting. There are wrecks and mining equipment to dive. There are lots of fish and certainly some of the best deep dives anywhere around. Best of all, there will be the chance to spend a day or two diving with good friends.
I am attaching an information sheet about the Advanced Open Water course. Please let me know if you are interested in taking this with me, or if you would like to do your Open Water training dives that weekend.
Information about area accommodations can be found on the Haigh Quarry website at www.haighquarry.com. I recommend making reservations as soon as you think you might be coming – rooms fill up quickly in Kankakee. Students have even been known to have to share the honeymoon suite. J
