Greetings, divers (and soon-to-be-divers)! We are rapidly approaching May, which is our busy training dive month. This year, I will be offering open water training for three classes during May – Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver and Enriched Air (Nitrox).
We will be doing training dives at Cedar Valley Quarry for the Open Water course on May 5/6, 12/13 and 19/20. Memorial Day weekend, May 26/27, we will be going to High Quarry in Kankakee for Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver and Enriched Air Diver training.
I am attaching three separate write ups about the dives, the first one, “OW training dive letter – spring 2007” talks a bit more about the Open Water diver training dives. The second, “PADI Advanced Open water Diver info sheet,” gives you an overview of the Advanced Open Water course. The third, “PADI Enriched Air Diver,” is an explanation of the Enriched Air Nitrox class.
For those of you needing open water training dives or looking to expand your experience with an advanced or specialty course, please consider joining us one of these weekends. There are limited spaces available, so please let me know as soon as you can when you’d like to dive.
For those of you “old-timers” who just want to come along and get wet, feel free to do that, too. It is always good to see – and dive with – you all!
